All calculations run locally in your browser. This site does not collect, store or transmit personal information. No cookies and no third-party tracking.

That opening sentence is about this website. The iOS app Embroidery Quote Calculator is a separate product. Website numbers stay in the browser. The app writes only local JSON on the device. The two do not share files, accounts or a network store.

Website: what happens in your browser

  • The numbers you type are read by a script running on your device and are used only to update the quote on screen.
  • The starting quote is rendered with the page, so the calculator is readable even with JavaScript disabled.
  • Once loaded, the page keeps working with the network switched off.
  • The copy button writes the plain-text summary to your clipboard only when you click it.
  • Website fields are not saved as the iOS app's settings.json, draft.json or history.json. Typing on this website does not create native-app records.

iOS app: local JSON in the app container

  • The iOS app writes settings.json, draft.json and history.json only inside its app container.
  • Those files contain shop settings, the live draft, saved quotes and frozen ledgers.
  • Job labels and notes are free text. The app asks you not to enter customer names or contact details. There is no customer-name, email, phone, address or order-file field.
  • The current native app has no account, login, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, tracking, payment, subscription, In-App Purchase, network client, WebView or third-party SDK.
  • The app does not upload files. System device backups may include the container if you enable backups. The app itself never uploads anything.

Copying and sharing

  • On the website, copying is an explicit click that writes plain text to your clipboard.
  • On the iOS app, copy and share happen only after an explicit tap, through system pasteboard and share sheet. The app never uploads those files.

What this site and the iOS app do not do

  • No accounts, sign-in or contact forms.
  • No cookies, local storage or session storage.
  • No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
  • No fonts, assets or requests loaded from outside this site.
  • Nothing you enter on this website is transmitted or stored anywhere — there is no server-side component receiving your numbers.
  • No payment, subscription or In-App Purchase on the website or in the iOS app.
  • No collection of personal information for accounts, analytics, advertising or sale.
